The SolidWorks eDrawings Manager in the left pane comprises tabs such as Components, Sheets, and Markup.

When you open a file, the most appropriate tab is selected.

Select a tab to display it. When you click a tool that has a related tab, the related tab is shown.
 

The graphics area on the right side displays the eDrawings file.

The triad orients the model axes in 3D space for part and assembly files.

The status bar displays icons to indicate if a file is review or measure enabled.
