Shaded Views

The Shaded SolidWorks eDrawings tool shaded Shaded Views tool toggles 3D model faces and 2D drawings between Shaded mode and Hidden Lines Removed (HLR). You can also choose to show edges in Shaded mode.

To toggle between shaded and HLR display mode:

Click Shaded SolidWorks eDrawings tool shaded Shaded Views or View, Shaded.

To toggle edges in shaded mode:

Click View, Show Edges when Shaded.

When documents are saved from SolidWorks eDrawings as eDrawings part or assembly files, the shaded state is remembered; the state of Show Edges when Shaded is not remembered.
